This is the dynamic pricing and cost calculator described in the SmartTrip concept, running on real planning rates for the northern circuit, Nyerere and Zanzibar. Change anything in the panel and every line, every day and the total recalculate immediately.
Rates are indicative 2025/26 planning figures held in a single data file, not a live feed. At launch this reads TANAPA and NCAA fee schedules, partner lodge rates and guide day rates directly.
Day by day
Park fees are charged per traveller per 24 hours and are exempt from VAT for non-residents. Vehicle and driver-guide are charged per Land Cruiser per day, six seats each. The Ngorongoro crater descent is a per-vehicle permit, charged per entry. The day costs on the left sum to the subtotal; the crater permit, the platform fee and VAT are added in the panel.
The same numbers, already reconciled.
When the traveller accepts, the quote becomes a booking file: supplier confirmations, the guide's schedule, the payment schedule and the margin on the trip, all derived from the lines above rather than retyped. The guide's dashboard picks up the itinerary, and the accommodation partner is notified against the same reference.
Nothing in that chain requires a second spreadsheet, and none of it breaks when the vehicle loses signal between Karatu and the Naabi gate — the file syncs at the gate.
